MYTS is the junior arm of Stafford and District Operatic Society.

MYTS aims to develop the singing, acting and dancing skills of children and young people. Through creative workshops and skills based training, MYTS works towards an annual fully staged musical production.

MYTS is open to young people aged 8 to 19 with an interest in musical theatre.

The Group meets every Friday evening during term time at John Wheeldon Primary School, Stafford. To enable members develop

their talents the MYTS programme is delivered by a team of experienced theatre professionals and Society members.

MYTS members aged 16 and over can join the adult Society, giving them

the opportunity to perform in two full musicals a year as well as MYTS productions.

MYTS has an annual membership fee of £10 per year, with a termly fee charged.
